sweden on home turf?

I’ve just been perusing the Melodifestivalen finalists this year, just to get a bit of a heads up as to whether they can do the double ;)

Here are two things you should know about:

David Lindgren - Skyline

Fricken Eurovision-tastic dance routine, about a bazillion times better than Eric Saade’s ;) They have men walking upside down in mid air :O and twisly round the back hand gestures :O :O Although I don’t understand why they undress him only to redress him...?

In other news, it’s official - the Eurovision has successfully procreated with itself and produced this... crazy love child you are about to witness.

Before you listen, get into your head the image of Ali G, crossed with a homosexual chav (no offence to gays or chavs), Verka Serduchka, and throw in a smidge of Trackshittaz for good measure. Then imagine if “Baila el Chiki Chiki” had been done by the Swedish. Got all that?

Ok, now Brace Yourself

Sean Banan - Copacabanana

Poor little ‘Second Place Danny’ even gets a mention!

Is is insane to want this to go through in the end? ;) Malmö could become a sweaty yellow alliance ...:S

Some people say putting in an entry like this undoes all the work done by Loreen winning last year. Like putting in a novelty act is their way of sabotaging their own chances of winning again.

I think the complete opposite :D Winning spectacularly and getting to host the contest gives you the right to put in something you might not normally do if you weren’t hosting. And who says that song and stage show couldn’t do well? Come on, once that’s in your head there aint no prising it back out :P

What I love about the Swedes is even though they already won, they are still trying just as hard as if they hadn’t with all their entries!
