movin’ out part II

So today is our date for completion on the new flat. We can pick up our keys today and go take a look at the flat, the first time since we visited to decide whether or not to buy it.

It’s been a rocky road and a half, with many worries and some tears. We’ve been messed about by banks over a mortgage, there are ridiculous and sometimes hidden fees associated with buying a flat like ours, but hopefully from here on in nothing else will impede us moving in and settling in.

Our notice is up on 8th December, so we have from now til then to move – brilliant. No rushing round with removal vans, we can move in at relative leisure.
